About ATCKC

ATC Kidz Care is owned and operated by Leslie Kniskern. I have been working with children in one capacity or another for over 15 years. I started ATCKC after my daughter was born and it has been a fun and exciting journey! Five years ago we opened as a listed home, then grew into a registered home, and recently we have become a licensed family home.

As a licensed family home I am inspected more often both by state licensing and the food program I belong to. The licensing standards that I must follow are much closer to the standards a child care center follows and as a result are more stringent than a registered home.

While it gives me a lot more paperwork to do *grins* I believe it creates a safer more secure home for your child to grow and learn in.
